Momo Faye, a young talent from Pallacanestro Reggiana, has attracted attention for her outstanding performances, but her immediate departure for the NBA seems complicated.
Gabriele Gallo, writing for “Il Resto del Carlino RE”, underlines that Faye’s contract does not include exit clauses for the end of the current season, therefore making a considerable financial offer necessary for his transfer.
Contract changes in 2025/2026 will allow Faye opportunities to leave for the NBA or Euroleague. Despite the interest shown, including the presence of a Charlotte Hornets scout during one of his games, it seems likely that Faye will remain in Reggio Emilia for at least another year, unless an NBA team decides to pay a substantial sum to advance his transfer.
