CODEVIGO. A powered paraglider crashed around 5 pm in the “Spiaggia della Boschettona” area in Conche di Codevigo, on the Venice lagoon. Rescue from the firefighters and Suem arrived immediately.
It seems that the man driving the paraglider, a 49-year-old from Preganziol, ER, got up a little too much and found an anomalous air current that caused the sail to twist.
After the fall, he was transported by helicopter to the hospital in Padua for investigations. He was found to have a fractured pelvis. Rescuers found him conscious and alert. He shouldn’t be life threatening.
