Jiangmen Municipal Government Launches “Green and Beautiful Jiangmen Pioneer” Tree Planting Initiative
On March 19, the Jiangmen Municipal Government Working Committee kicked off the 2024 Municipal Government “Green and Beautiful Jiangmen Pioneer” initiative with a tree planting event in Chaolian Street. The event, held in the “Party Member Forest,” saw the participation of 100 representatives of probationary party members and Party activists from various party organizations.
The participants worked tirelessly to plant over 150 saplings, including redbud and yellow-flowered saplings, to add greenery to the city of Jiangmen and enhance the beauty of the party flag. With a clear division of labor and coordinated cooperation, the saplings were successfully planted and stood upright, symbolizing the arrival of spring.
The municipal government agencies working committee focused on training party members and activists through rural greening initiatives, aiming to instill a sense of ecological responsibility and dedication to green and beautiful Jiangmen. Participants like Li Yubin from the Municipal Health Bureau and Chen Wenhua from the Jiangmen Prison expressed their commitment to contributing to the city’s ecological construction through practical actions.
The tree planting event not only symbolized hope and growth but also showcased the dedication of party members to creating a green and beautiful environment in Jiangmen. As part of the initiative, party organizations at all levels of municipal agencies have actively engaged in tree planting and donation activities, with a total of 14,641 party members participating and pledging a significant amount towards the cause.
The “Green and Beautiful Jiangmen Pioneer” initiative aims to lead the city’s ecological transformation with the support of party members and grassroots organizations. Through collaborative efforts and a shared commitment to environmental conservation, Jiangmen is on its way to becoming a truly green and beautiful city.
