His father, the activist and writer Khaled Al-Arassi, was admitted to intensive care due to the arrest and disappearance of her son.
Khaled Al-Arassi was arrested on Saturday, April 27, 2024, by a security force that stormed his house, and he was taken to an undisclosed destination.
Khaled Al-Arassi’s son, Yahya, said that his grandmother fell into a coma due to her high blood sugar, out of fear and distress for her son.
Yahya Al-Arassi pointed out that his grandmother was transferred to a hospital in Sanaa, pointing out that the injustice was no longer limited to his father, but rather extended to his family.
