The Government of Casanare, in compliance with article 30 of law 2056 of 2020, through the Administrative Department of Planning, has convened a Special Participatory table with the purpose of listening to and collecting the initiatives of the NARP and Indigenous Community in the process of construction of the Departmental Development Plan.
A first event will take place this Wednesday, January 24, starting at 3:00 Pm in the Joropo Room of the Casanare Chamber of Commerce, where attention will be given to the 26 certified organizations that represent the NARP population of the department .
This exclusive space will allow you to listen to and analyze the ideas, initiatives and projects presented by these organizations, which will be considered for inclusion in the Departmental Development Plan and to be financed with resources from the General Royalties System.
Alfonso Cárdenas Silva, Director of the Administrative Department of Planning, highlighted the importance of this exercise by pointing out: “Law 2056 establishes a specific allocation of royalty resources, corresponding to 2% of the department’s indirect allocations and 4.5% of the allocations indirect of the municipalities that receive said resources. We are committed to regulatory compliance, carrying out Planning exercises and convening this key population in our department, which deserves significant investments through the General Royalty System.”
Subsequently, a Concertation table is scheduled with all the indigenous communities next Saturday, January 27 in the El Duya reservation in the municipality of Orocué, starting at 7:00 am. This space will be essential to listen to the voices and proposals of indigenous communities in the participatory process for the construction of the Departmental Development Plan.
