According to the Securities Times, the National Health Commission reported that from 0-24:00 on January 7, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 159 new confirmed cases. Among them, 64 were imported from abroad (32 in Shanghai, 7 in Guangdong, 6 in Tianjin, 6 in Guangxi, 4 in Fujian, 3 in Hunan, 3 in Yunnan, 1 in Liaoning, 1 in Henan, and 1 in Sichuan), including 7 Cases turned from asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (3 in Hunan, 1 in Fujian, 1 in Henan, 1 in Guangxi, and 1 in Sichuan); 95 local cases (46 in Shaanxi, all in Xi’an; 43 in Henan, Among them, there were 24 cases in Zhengzhou City, 18 cases in Xuchang City, and 1 case in Zhoukou City; 4 cases in Zhejiang, including 3 cases in Ningbo City and 1 case in Jinhua City; 2 cases in Guangdong, all in Shenzhen). There were no new deaths. One new suspected case was an imported case (in Shanghai).
