Negotiations between Pakistan and IMF completed

Web Desk: Economic review talks between Pakistan and the IMF review mission were successfully completed.
There are clear prospects for the final tranche of $1.1 billion for Pakistan, as Pakistan has satisfied the IMF’s mission on economic performance.
If the talks are successful, Pakistan will get the final installment of 1.1 billion dollars under the standby arrangement.
After the completion of the current program, Pakistan is also seeking a new 4-year program from the IMF, in which the loan amount could be 7.5 billion dollars.
On the other hand, US Ambassador Donald Bloom met with Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and discussed the loan program between Pakistan and the IMF.
The Finance Minister briefed the US Ambassador about the progress in the talks with the IMF.
According to the sources, in the meeting, the American support for the goals related to economic reforms in Pakistan was also reviewed.
