“I welcome with satisfaction the sentence of the Piedmont TAR which today rejected the appeal against the resolution of the City Council which authorized a new building of the Salesian Institute of Fossano, the Cnos Fap, to be used for laboratory and classroom teaching activities”. Thus the mayor of Fossano, Dario Tallone.
The ruling was published today (Monday 13 December). The story dates back to November 2020 after the Municipality issued in July of a year ago the permit to build instead of a football field, in the inner courtyard of the professional school in via Verdi. To build a new school building.
It was the neighbors of the building who turned to the Administrative Court of Turin, contesting the exceptions to the Regulatory Plan on green areas, increase in airspace and other technical and procedural aspects.
The appeal after more than a year was rejected, because the complaints were “partly inadmissible due to lack of interest and partly unfounded on the merits”. Again the mayor: “Politics is done with facts, creating job opportunities, not with appeals.”
