After five rounds of voting and the surprising resignation of Amelia Pérez from the shortlist proposed by Gustavo Petro, the Supreme Court of Justice elected Luz Adriana Camargo as the new Attorney General of the Nation.
The lawyer, a graduate of the Universidad de la Sabana, initially received 13 votes from the magistrates in the first vote. However, in the last vote, she achieved the support of 18 judges.

Now, after her election, the new attorney general, in an interview given to RTVC, Luz Adriana Arango addressed some issues surrounding the management carried out by Mancera in her previous position, and her alleged relationship with the case. alias “Pacho.”
At first, the new Prosecutor stated: “The only information I have is what has circulated in the media. It would not be serious or responsible to express any opinion on the matter. “I believe that Dr. Mancera fulfilled her role as deputy prosecutor in the administration of Francisco Barbosa.”
