Codechocó has reported that the Institute of Hydrology, Meteorology and Environmental Studies, Ideam, launched new alerts about floods in Chocó, according to the information recorded by its automatic hydrological stations.

Yellow Alert: Possible flooding in the Pacific coastal area

Orange Alert: Baudó and Darién.

Red Alert: Atrato Alto and Medio, Cabí River and its tributaries, Andágueda River, San Juan Alto and Medio River and Tamaná River and tributaries.

Therefore, Codechocó informs the population present in the municipalities of Tadó, Quibdó, El Carmen de Atrato, Bagadó, Istmina and Medio San Juan that they must activate early warning systems that allow preparation for flood events, torrential floods and mass movements.
