At the ‘José Eustasio Rivera’ Convention Center in Neiva, the cultural authorities of Huila revealed the long-awaited poster and programming for the 63rd Bambuco Festival in San Juan and San Pedro.

These emblematic festivities of the department will take place from June 14 to July 1, 2024.

After a new selection process that evaluated 34 proposals, It was announced that the winning poster is “Ancestral Charm”, designed by Rodrigo Quimbaya. This design highlights Huila traditions, incorporating regional musical elements and a vibrant troupe that dances to the rhythm of rajaleñas and bambucos. The author of the poster expressed: “We wanted to develop the poster and take it more to the roots, there we found the Huilense people and what more Huilense people to be able to represent it through a troupe that dances happily to the rhythm of rajaleñas and bambucos. We complement the composition at its base with the main couple of the dance, which in turn marks the text that invites us to our festival.”

In addition to the poster, the program of the festivities was revealed, which promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees.
