The 53-year-old died on February 6 in hospital from heart problems. The thieves entered the house again, taking away the fridge as well

MOGLIANO. Two weeks after his death, Massimiliano Mestriner’s apartment in the Ater houses in via Barbiero was again visited by thieves: this time some paintings from his collection by the painter Pietro Giovecchi were also stolen.

To discover the theft yesterday morning, it was a relative who had gone to the home of the deceased, in the building in via Barbiero, to recover some personal effects.
