For Friday, April 5, the launch of the 57th Vallenata Legend Festival is scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm in the main park of Nobsa, Boyacá, in tribute to the singer Iván Villazón, ‘La Voz Tenor del Vallenato ‘, thanks to the invitation extended by Mayor Helver Ricardo Granados Guauque.
On that stage, in its first act, there will be the presentation of the Professional Vallenato King, Javier Matta Correa; from the Senior Queen, Wendy Paola Corzo Carmona; of the Amateur King Jesús David Valderrama Mora; of the King of the Unpublished Vallenata Song, Juan Pablo Martín Álvarez and the King of the Piqueria, Julio Erasmo Gutiérrez Vega, winners at the 56th Festival of the Vallenata Legend. They will take a tour of their musical feat of songs and verses where they will demonstrate their enormous talent on the land of Boyacá.
The second act will have the presentation of five Reyes Vallenatos residents in Bogotá, who agreed to join this folkloric event. On stage they will be performing the four airs: Alberto Jamaica Larrota, Rey Vallenato 2006; Fernando Rangel Molina, Rey Vallenato 2012; Jaime Dangond Daza, Rey Vallenato 2016; Julián Mojica Galvis, Rey Vallenato 2018 and Alfonso Monsalvo Baute.
