NOCERA INFERIORE – There would have been no certification of the attendance of the participants in the course for Environmental Inspector in Nocera Inferiore. Except on two occasions, corresponding to the two moments in which it was possible to meet the students in presence, for the other meetings no one would have officially reported on present and absent. This was stated by the municipal councilor Ilario Capaldo, after having received all the documentation concerning the project promoted by the administration of the mayor Manlio Torquato. The councilor turned on the spotlight on the affair at the beginning of May, he raised the problem following the failure of some students to be admitted to the final exam.
Nicoletta Fasanino, who had followed the procedure, attacked the commissioner for environmental policies. A very hard controversy, which continued for several days. On May 6, Capaldo started the procedure for accessing the documents, documents which he came into possession of the day before yesterday and which he proceeded to examine. “Looking at the papers – he said – I can say that the mayor did well, together with the general secretary, to suspend the examination session”. There are two aspects that would justify this decision: «One concerns the good rule of action of a public administrator, if the notice provided for the exclusion of those who had had pending charges, this is not asked at the end of the course but at the beginning. Secondly – continued Ilario Capaldo – with respect to presences and absences, which were grounds for exclusion as required by the announcement, except in two cases, where they were taken in attendance, they are completely random without any feedback or certification “.
In short, from his reading, the Nocerino town councilor would have done well to lift the veil on the selection that would have been tainted by “obvious and serious political responsibilities”. Capaldo has therefore asked that “the political leader”, and here the accusation is addressed directly to the commissioner Fasanino, “resign”. In the post published on Facebook, the spokesman of the group “Moderati per Torquato” also called into question the mayor of Nocera Inferiore: “I expect those in charge to put an end to this ugly page that involved 4 5 Nocera boys”.
For his part, Mayor Torquato remarked that there is an ongoing verification by the general secretary Ornella Famiglietti, who has suspended the exams and is now investigating the aspects of the matter. At the moment, however, it has not yet officially pronounced itself on a matter pending clarification. Any resignation of Nicoletta Fasanino, meanwhile, could be anything but a twist. In fact, the hypothesis would not be too remote. The question of environmental inspectors and that of the stabilization of the precarious workers in sub-area 1 are urging the entire municipal administration and also imminent news in the executive at the helm of the Town Hall are not excluded.
