Recently, Hangzhou Traffic issued a notice that in order to further ensure the construction progress of the Hangzhou Pengbu Interconnection Reconstruction Project (a key project of the Asian Games), from mid-February to May 30 this year, the ground road of Genshan East Road (Dongning Road to Tongxie Road) will be closed. Totally closed construction will be implemented.
During the construction period, the road section of Genshan East Road (Dongning Road to Tongxie Road) is prohibited from passing all vehicles except for the vehicles of units along the line. For restricted motor vehicles, please choose Qiantang Expressway, Tongxie Road, Tanhua’an Road, Xintang Road and other surrounding roads to bypass. Non-motor vehicles and pedestrians should pass through the reserved passageway in the construction area.
After completion, the ground road will be two-way six-lane, and the elevated road will also be two-way six-lane, which can significantly improve the traffic capacity of the entire area and the entire section of the road.
