IVREA. She said that, seeing those lines of refugees fleeing from horror on TV, she said to herself that where you go do something. In Iraqi Kurdistan everything was missing. And so it was that Graziella Bronzini, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 73, began to explain, aggregate, build, raise awareness.
Ivrea was the first Italian city to be twinned with a Kurdish city, Qaladiza. With the committee founded by Graziella Bronzini, the resources were put together to build a hospital in Qaladiza, with remote support studies and support were guaranteed to over two hundred orphaned children, with specific projects they aimed to buy a van to take the children to school safely as there were mined areas.
