TREVISO. In Treviso, following a private party among young people from the capital, held on 6 July in Jesolo, emerged 13 positivity, 9 of which have already been confirmed by the molecular. 46 boys attended the party: the operators are contacting everyone for the swab and the communication of the quarantine.
Part of the participants in the Jesolo event had, two days earlier, attended a birthday party in a well-known restaurant in the Treviso area: among those who were present at this event, two other positives have emerged so far but contact tracing is still in progress to reconstruct the entire chain of possible infections.
According to the statements of some of the young people who had positive results, part of them would also have participated in other parties in recent days, as well as in a football tournament and, therefore, the tracking activity is complex. “What we unfortunately feared has happened” underlines the general manager, Francesco Benazzi. “The events in which many unvaccinated people find themselves, who do not respect the distancing and do not wear a mask, even if outdoors, are unfortunately proving to be a source of contagion. I renew my invitation to everyone, but especially at this stage to young people, to get vaccinated as soon as possible and to respect the rules. Tomorrow is the final of Italy: I launch an appeal to everyone. Cheer and cheer, but with the utmost respect for the rules to protect you and those around you ”.
In the Vittoriese, however, the positivity of a 4-year-old child emerged, participating in a summer center with 60 other children. Children and family members, as well as operators and close contacts, will be swabbed and quarantined.
