SIXTH TO REGHENA. An outbreak of low pathogenic avian H5N2 was detected in a pheasant farm in Sesto al Reghena: the prevention health care district of the western Friuli health authority has ordered the killing of the animals, about 500, as expected in such situations.

In addition to the provisions of AsFo, the mayor Marcello Del Zotto signed an order that provides for a further package of actions aimed at preventing the extension of the outbreak.
