The National Land Agency (ANT) delivered rural property titles to peasant families from three municipalities of Cesar and to the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI).

The event took place at the cultural house of the municipality of Bosconia, where a total of eight families that have properties in Bosconia, Valledupar and Tamalameque benefited, and they received 10 titles (one of them was given three resolutions). ), while two were awarded to the ANI on land located in Bosconia and Valledupar, for a total of 12 titles.

Jaime Sánchez, coordinator of the ANT in Cesar, pointed out that: “They are peasant families who have been waiting for years for the formalization of their properties. We will continue with the formalization of the land to generate owners, legal security and advance agrarian reform.”

The 12 properties delivered have a territorial expansion of 71.3 hectares, which are located in Boca de Tigre, Zapatosa, Aguas Blancas and Mariangola, among other villages and townships. On these lands, peasant families carry out activities such as dairy farming, cassava cultivation, planting corn, lemon, watermelon and pumpkin. Meanwhile, the ANI was awarded two vacant lots by the ANT for the construction of sections of roads that will benefit the community in general.

“Thanks to the National Government and the director of the ANT, Felipe Harman, because we now legally have the titles to our lands,” said the beneficiary.

The title delivery processes continue to advance with the ANT, which will soon be delivering seven more property titles to peasant families from Chiriguaná, El Copey and Valledupar; who were not present at the event.

These resolutions formalize the rural property of 79.7 hectares. Beneficiary families can come to request the documents at the ANT headquarters in the city of Valledupar, which is located at 16 street # 9 – 30, 11th floor, offices 1104, 1106 and 1107, which are open Mondays to Friday from 8 in the morning.

With the delivery of these documents that represent the legalization of their lands and homes by ANT, these peasant families will be able to continue growing farm products and raising their animals with peace of mind, having access to possible credits and development projects.
