The state oil company will not readjust its fuel prices until June.
The President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, announced this Monday that the price of fuels marketed by the Petropar company is guaranteed until June.
“The pocketbook is going to improve, how much is it going to improve, we have solved the problem, I think that will take more time, we should not lie to the people, but we are going to take care of the people’s pocketbooks, not increasing the price of fuel, unless there is an international escalation,” said Peña.
In that sense, the president said that after a recent meeting he held with his main collaborators, it was determined that the price of fuel is assured until the month of June.
“We have lowered the price of fuel four times since August 15, which generated tremendous discontent among private companies but benefited users,” the president recalled after visiting the facilities of the state oil company the day before, kicking off to your work schedule.
