In reference to the news on the online publication of Piracy Shield source code, the Serie A League issued a note stating that the platform Piracy Shield is fully functional and that its security has not been compromised by the illicit dissemination of some parts, not even current, of the source code.
The Serie A League expresses confidence in the work ofAGCOM and underlines that the body will continue to act to ensure the correct functioning of a technical-legal system that has already produced significant results. This system was established in implementation of a law passed unanimously in Parliamentdespite the sabotage attempts of the criminals who manage the IPTV illicit and their supporters. There Serie A League assures that it will continue to do its utmost to fight this scourge in all available forums, as it is not the only one threatens the future of footballbut it also leads to the loss of thousands of jobs every year.
