Firefighters of San Vito al Tagliamento and Spilimbergo, supported by the ladder truck coming from the Pordenone headquarters, intervened during the night for the fire of a heap of industrial waste made up of plastic waste, inside a shed in the “Ponte Rosso” industrial area in the municipality of San Vito al Tagliamento.
The timely dispatch of five vehicles and sixteen firefighters made it possible to limit the fire, preventing it from spreading to the rest of the material stored within the company.
The causes are being examined by the Nia (Fire Department Investigative Unit) of the Pordenone firefighters. The Carabinieri were also on site for the relevant investigations.
