Lahore: Police’s wireless system will now be transferred to modern technology. Smart mobile phones will now be used instead of expensive wireless sets. Safe City has developed an alternative system for LT handsets. Safe Cities officials say that Android mobile phones will now replace LT handsets.
All the features of the LT handset will be able to be operated from the mobile phone. The testing of the VCom app is going on to stabilize the communication channel of the police. All functions will be enabled. Due to these systems, Punjab Police will be freed from LT handsets.
