BRIDGE IN THE ALPS. He calls for help complaining of severe headache following a fall in the house, but waits for the medical workers to arrive with a dog scacciacani in hand, barricades himself in the house and a shot explodes (the gun was in the end a dog scacciacani). The episode that saw the protagonist of a 52-year-old Pontalpine psychiatric patient ended with a long negotiation by the marshal negotiator of the investigative unit of the Belluno carabinieri. At 21 on August 13, the 52-year-old’s request that he called 118 complaining of severe pain in his head: he claimed to have accidentally fallen into the house.

At home, however, the health workers were greeted with a gun in hand which later turned out to be, in truth, a scacciacani. Before the situation was clear, however, the 52-year-old created alarm by threatening operators who rushed to rescue him and subsequently threatening to commit suicide. After about 20 minutes, while the soldiers from the Alpago and Norm Belluno stations were securing the area to allow the negotiator to intervene, they heard a gunshot from inside. The negotiating carabiniere immediately started the activity by convincing, after about 15 minutes, the subject to go out and be hospitalized. Inside it was found the scacciacani gun and some blank shots, alcohol and psychiatric drugs.
