President Asif Ali Zardari took oath

Web Desk: Asif Ali Zardari, who was elected as the 14th President of Pakistan, took the oath of office.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faiz Isa administered oath to newly elected President Asif Ali Zardari.
The swearing-in ceremony was held in the President’s House in which former President Arif Alvi, Leader of League Nawaz Sharif, Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, Bilawal Bhutto, Bakhtawar Bhutto, Asifa Bhutto Zardari participated.
Apart from this, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza also participated in the event.
It should be noted that Asif Ali Zardari is the only civilian who has been elected president for the second time. Yesterday, Asif Ali Zardari got 411 electoral votes, while his opponent, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, nominated by the Sunni Unity Council, got 180 electoral votes.
