Putian City Licheng District Veterans Affairs Bureau Promotes National Security Education Day Activities

In an effort to enhance national security awareness among its citizens, the Putian City Licheng District Veterans Affairs Bureau recently organized a series of activities to commemorate National Security Education Day.

Throughout the period, the bureau visited the Xinghua Prefecture Historical and Cultural District as well as the “House of Glory” to educate tourists, military families, and the general public on their rights and obligations under the National Security Law of the People’s Republic of China. Brochures outlining important laws such as the “National Security Law”, “Law on the Protection of Veterans”, and the “Law on the Protection of Military Personnel” were distributed to help individuals better understand national security knowledge.

Additionally, the bureau hosted national security education theme party days, where participants engaged in in-depth learning sessions on key legislations such as the “National Security Law of the People’s Republic of China” and the “Regulations on the Internet Behavior of Party Members of the Communist Party of China”. Activities included watching national security warning education films and participating in question-and-answer sessions to ensure that cadres and employees of the retired military affairs system are well-equipped to fulfill their responsibilities in safeguarding national security and protecting national secrets.

The activities aim to foster a strong atmosphere of national security consciousness, emphasizing that everyone has a role to play in upholding the security of the nation. By spreading awareness and educating the public, the Putian City Licheng District Veterans Affairs Bureau hopes to create a more vigilant and informed community when it comes to national security matters.
