Vladimir Putin has signed the law that will allow him to remain president for two more terms, if elected, and to exceed the previous limit for which one could not be head of the Kremlin for more than two consecutive cycles. Putin ratified the result of the national election in July of last year, when together with other questions the Russians were asked to change some articles of the Constitution, including the one that imposed the limit of presidential mandates.
