A young man was seriously injured in Brindisi during a fight between teenagers last night and was transported under code red to the ‘Perrino’ hospital. A twenty-year-old man believed to be the perpetrator of the attack was arrested by the police on charges of attempted murder. The injured man, who was apparently hit with at least one punch in the face, suffered head trauma and underwent surgery. He is now hospitalized in intensive care at Perrino in a pharmacological coma. The arrested person was transferred to prison.
