QUASSOLO. The fundraising campaign promoted by Edison for the construction of the Quassolo hydroelectric plant ended early. The goal of the collection was 300,000 euros, a ceiling reached in advance of the date
deadline set for April 15. It was attended by the residents of the six municipalities in the area, Quassolo, Borgofranco di Ivrea, Quincinetto, Tavagnasco, Montalto Dora and Settimo Vittone, but also the holders of a Light & Gas contract signed with the Edison Energia company throughout the country. The Quassolo plant is under construction along the left bank of the Dora Baltea and will come into operation by the end of 2023.
