CONFUSION ON RAFAEL ESCALONA’S BIRTHDAY
According to authorized paperwork, Escalona’s baptismal certificates has a date of beginning of May 27, 1927, and her beginning certificates says May 26.
In an interview with ‘Mi Diario Informador de Paz’, Augusto Escalona, Rafael’s nephew, shared the composer’s baptismal certificates and that is his birthday on May 27 in Patillal, Valledupar area.
This would be the doc assigned to Escalona’s nephew.
