Most of the parties that support Prime Minister Draghi are hard-liners on the issue of revolving doors between the judiciary and politics. The Democratic Party believes that the compromise reached by the Keeper of the Seals is a step forward, despite having called for a “buffer” rule that would have allowed a “freezing” of the judges who stand in the elections. The conviction of the political forces of the majority is that once the reform of the CSM gets the green light from the CDM, it will then be difficult to get in the way.
