Data increasingly from the “white zone”. After yesterday’s start of the countdown that will bring Campania into the “color” with the fewest limitations starting from next 21 June, the epidemiological situation in the “terra felix” improves again: this is what emerges from the report of the Regional Crisis Unit relating to checks carried out in the laboratory on Friday. In the area that goes from Sessa Aurunca to Sapri, in fact, 307 new cases of positivity to Covid have been ascertained on the 10,999 molecular swabs “sieved” by technicians and biologists in the structures accredited by Palazzo Santa Lucia. The ratio between the tests with the virus and the controlled ones is lower again: the new data, in fact, is equal to 2.79% while the numbers of the previous bulletin reported the percentage figure to 3.53%. The other data is also good: two confirmed deaths (one in the last 48 hours and another previously but recorded in the last hours) while 675 people recovered. In hospitals, the number of beds occupied in intensive care remains unchanged at 49, while those in hospital are decreasing (572 while in the previous report they were 593).
One of the deaths ascertained in the last hours is related to the province of Salerno. The “invisible monster”, in fact, made Altavilla Silentina cry: in the center of the Piana del Sele a woman who had been hospitalized for about a month in the intensive care unit of the “Ruggi” hospital in Salerno lost her life. As for the contagion data, in the Salerno area another 37 “infected tests” were ascertained compared to the 1,222 swabs “passed through a sieve” and arrived from one of the 158 municipalities in the area that goes from Scafati to Sapri.
