by admin

The robotica lands in Genoa, thanks to the support of Cdp Venture Capital Sgr. The operating branch of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti has in fact announced the establishment of RoboIT, the first national hub for the Technology Transfer of Robotics. An opportunity to exploit a reference market which in 2020 recorded 104 thousand companies, 429 thousand employees, a turnover of about 5 billion euros and which is constantly lively.

Bringing innovation to the heart of the territory, from researchers to entrepreneurs. This is the ultimate goal of the project that will see the light in Genoa in the Valpolcevera area, a few meters from the new Ponte San Giorgio, where what has been defined as the first European Robot Valley is being born. Through the Technology Transfer Fund, with an endowment of 275 million euros, Cdp Venture Capital will invest in the entire Technology Transfer chain through the creation of National Poles distributed throughout the territory. And the Ligurian capital, both for its geographical position and for the economic fabric, was chosen as a trailblazer. “Through the dedicated Technology Transfer Fund, Cdp Venture Capital intends to promote this process with the creation of Technology Transfer Poles that systematize the most advanced Universities and Research Centers in the areas of greatest innovation”, said Enrico Resmini, director delegate and general manager of Cdp Venture Capital.f.gor.
