SALERNO – After a 2020 stop for analyzes and visits to hospitals and other public structures engaged in the fight against Covid, in the first months of 2021 the request to carry out diagnostic tests in accredited private centers has increased enormously. And so, the expenditure forecasts for the specialist outpatient macro-area dedicated to analysis, radiological and diagnostics laboratories in general have or are about to run out in all the Asl of Campania.
The alarm had already been raised in recent months, but the budget forecasts available for accredited private structures have worsened. In practice, the moment in which the various exams will be paid has approached considerably or has already been passed. From a data processing by Aspat Campania, the association representing the diagnostic laboratories, together with Cittadinanzattiva, has indicated the critical point of each ASL, indicating the days in which the budgets will be exhausted. Dates presumed and communicated by the Campania Region to the joint company technical tables of each ASL. It should be remembered that the budgets are based on the monitoring of resident quotas, while those relating to the so-called regional and extra-regional mobility have not been published, but we know that the picture that emerges is even more severe.
