The “remodeling of the San Andrés market” project will soon be a reality for the inhabitants of the parish. The objective is to provide a better quality of service in the supply of products to be marketed.
Through a symbolic delivery next Saturday, May 13, 2023, the delivery of the work “Remodeling of the San Andrés Market” will be carried out, which will support the merchants; The project will be delivered by the Parish Government through a special program that will take place from 3:00 p.m.
The president of the board, Gustavo Paca gave details about the budget of the work and its purpose. “The remodeling of the San Andrés market was valued at a total of USD 122,276.54 and it is a great satisfaction to be able to deliver this emblematic place that will benefit the entire parish, both for the merchants and for the buyers of the place. and that of other parishes that purchase their products”, he concluded.
According to Paca’s versions, the market is a project with its own initiative, since for some years it has been thought about remodeling it, since it has been considered that the project is a space that will help all producers who need to sell their products. “We have already advanced 80% with this wonderful work, however, before the change of authorities we want to hand over the place and it is expected that, by the end of May, the project will be completed in its entirety,” Paca explained.
The market will have several platforms, since being a large space, it will be more useful for vendors to distribute their products, in addition, the project will have a special area that will be used as a food court, so that locals and strangers alike can enjoy the traditions that the San Andrés sector offers.
