Driver of the Piave Laundry in San Michele breaks his breastbone. Road blocked for a long time
FALCADE. A truck that left an industrial laundry in San Michele di Piave (Treviso), Lavanderia Piave, overturned and ended up in the middle of the roadway along the snow-covered San Pellegrino pass. The driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling down the still snow-covered section of the provincial road 346, near Falcade. The truck then went sideways and overturned.
Veneto Strade technicians and a team of Fire Brigade immediately went to the site to remove the vehicle. The road was closed for a long time.
The 46-year-old driver from Santa Lucia di Piave reported a compound fracture of the sternum.
