SARNO – This morning the funeral was held in Sarno of Annamaria Ascolese, the 49-year-old resident of Marino killed by her husband on April 16 last. Those present wore a mask or a red head as a sign of the fight against violence against women. “Sick relationships on earth will be severed in the eyes of God, who forgives and gives new hope with the resurrection”, were the words of Don Roberto Farruggio. Also present were several exponents of the municipal administration, with the mayor of the city, Giuseppe Canfora, extremely impressed and who did not want to release any public statement.
