Who is alias ‘Satan’?
His name is José Manuel Vera, He is the leader of the gang ‘Los Satan’, a hitman arm of the Tren de Aragua who manages the micro-trafficking business and extorts in several locations in the city. Vera was arrested in Ecuador in November 2023.
After this capture, he was extradited to Colombia, where the National Police already had him in their sights due to his criminal history, as he was known in the criminal world for his cruel ways of intimidating merchants and people.

Since his escape he settled in Colombia where he joined the gang ‘Los Costeños’, another criminal gang dedicated to micro-trafficking, where he quickly became the leader after he murdered his own bosses. After this episode, he changed the name of the band to ‘Los Satan’.
His crimes inside prison
‘Satanás’, who until recently was detained in a prison within the department of Santander, He was discovered making extortion calls to several merchants based in Bogotá.

“I may be in prison, but here all the boys are on the street”stated the criminal in the audio where the extortion activities that ‘Satan’ has carried out since his conviction are evident.
Now, several hours after the prisoner’s departure from Girón, it was announced that he was transferred to the Tramacua prison, located in the city of Valleduparcapital of the department of Cesar.
