The Saudi cabinet chaired by King Salman of Saudi Arabia on Tuesday rejected Israel’s statements regarding the forced eviction of Palestinians from their territories, the occupation of the Gaza Strip and the construction of Jewish settlements.

The Saudi cabinet stressed the importance of efforts at the international level to hold Israel accountable for its violations of international humanitarian law.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, Minister of Information Salman Al-Dosari said after the meeting that “in the cabinet, regional and international situations were discussed and special attention was paid to the latest situation in the Palestinian territories.”

The cabinet also discussed measures aimed at securing the stability of the oil market.

The Cabinet appreciated the commitment of the Oil Producing Countries (OPEC) to stabilize the market.

The cabinet said, “Saudi Arabia was and will continue to be a supporter of the efforts made for stability and balance in the oil market.”

The Minister of Information said that during the meeting, the happy results of developing important sectors on modern lines, their increasing role in the overall national production and the development process were reviewed.

It was said in the meeting that this is in line with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030. This will pave the way for sustainable development and a prosperous future.’

In the meeting held in Riyadh, the cabinet also approved 17 resolutions.
