Studying is a right e in Emilia Romagna there are more and more students who can count on financial help during their educational and training journey. There are a total of over 25 thousand, exactly 25.108, the girls and boys of high school that they will receive scholarships thanks to 5 million euros of resources, both regional and state.
Of these, 13.443 are beneficiaries of bags financed by Region per the 2023-24 school year (143 more than the previous school year) thanks to the allocation, desired by the Council, Of almost 2.8 million euros (2,780,965 euros, 30 thousand more than in the 2022/2023 school year). Funding for students of the first and second years of secondary schools second degree or enrolled in the courses of Education and Professional Training (IeFP) of the bodies of the regional system.
To them are added the 11,665 students in the last three years of secondary schools that will receive the scholarships financed with over 2.2 million (2,224,422 euros) of state resources.
“This year too – comments the school councillor, Paola Salomoni– the Region guarantees its commitment to supporting the right to education with a financial allocation that increases the resources already increased last year. As we have always done, even today we are able to ensure this benefit to 100% of those who are entitled to it, keeping the amounts stable despite the increase in beneficiaries”.
The amount of the scholarships
The scholarships financed with regional resources, of an amount equal to 183 euro, they will be provided directly by the Provinces and the Metropolitan City of Bologna to all those entitled to itthat is, boys and girls belonging to families with Lower ISEE a 15.748 euro. The scholarship increased by 25%, i.e. equal to 229 eurowill be awarded in particular to students who have achieved an average equal to or greater than 7 and to those with disability.
The unit amount of grants financed with state resources and of 190,50 euro; they will be paid according to methods communicated by the Ministry of Education and Merit.
The distribution of regional scholarships, by province
The 13.443 scholarships awarded from Piacenza to Rimini for a total amount of 2.780.965 euro they are divided as follows across the territory: 2.727 those assigned in the province of Bologna for an amount of 560,773 euros, 2,547 a Modena for 525,993 euros, 1,696 y Reggio Emilia for 351,814 euros, 1,432 a Forlì-Cesena for 297,522 euros, 1,371 y Parma for 282,725 euros, 1,107 y Ravenna for 231,285 euros, 1,046 y Rimini for 216,672 euros, 807 y Piacenza for 166,955 euros, 710 a Ferrara per 147.226 euro.
