Mass sessions in half the province: 5,100 people called. The forty-year-old campaign is struggling to take off
BELLUNO. The vaccination campaign against Covid in the province of Belluno is proceeding apace. Over 118,500 doses have been administered so far, which means that more than half of the population has received at least one vaccine injection, while one in five has completed prophylaxis.
The current situation: the over 80s
Currently, it is the over 80s who have adhered most to vaccination. Out of 16,821 over eighty-year-olds residing in the province, 87% had the two doses of serum, while 9.85% equal to 1,650 only the first. The appeal is missing 3.2%.
Gli over 70
Immunization is progressing well among the over 70s: out of 23,687 Belluno people belonging to this age group, 19.6% completed the vaccination cycle, while 64.9% received a dose. 3,680 people remain to be reached, or 15.5%.
Over 60
Good adhesion to the campaign also by the over 60s: 7,511 remain to be vaccinated, that is 26.8% of a total of 27,977.
Over 50
Out of 33,149 over 50s present in the Belluno area, only 43% underwent vaccination of which 29% (i.e. 9,609) received the first dose. 18,672 are missing, that is 56.3%.
Over 40
The campaign among those born between 1981 and 1972 is struggling to start. Of the 28,732 over 40s, in fact, only 15.6% adhered to prophylaxis of which 2,945 (10.2%) have completed immunization. 24,245 remain to be vaccinated, ie 84.4%.
The next vaccination sessions
With the help of general practitioners, more than 5,100 people will be vaccinated from today until Sunday 6 June: these are recalls, but also first doses on over 60s. Today the sessions will take place in Cortina, Feltre, Fonzaso. Three dates for Comelico: tomorrow the second dose of Moderna is scheduled, on Sunday the over 60s will be immunized with the Johnson & Johnson serum, and on Monday recalls with Astrazeneca. Today in Agordo (2.30pm-5pm), tomorrow in Tai (6-7pm) and Saturday in Feltre (5.30pm-7pm) free vaccination access for over 60s.
