LOCHRISTI –

EDUGO secondary school from Lochristi has suspended an employee of the support team after a report of inappropriate behavior.

At the beginning of March, the management of EDUGO secondary school in Lochristi received a report of inappropriate behavior. An employee of the school’s support team allegedly went too far with an adult student.

Director Dimitri Van Hoecke cannot say anything about the nature of the incident, but does confirm that an internal investigation into the employee has been started. “We are now trying to map everything out as best as possible,” says Van Hoecke. “We have also informed our students and their parents and employees. We want to be transparent.”

In order not to damage the internal investigation, director Van Hoecke does not provide any further details. “I can only say that there is currently no judicial investigation into the facts.”
