Senate, live streaming event: “The right to knowledge.  Italian whistleblowers “: from the G8 case to the Marò affair

It is entitled “The right to know. Italian Whistleblowers ”the conference organized by the President of the Library and Historical Archives Commission of the Senate Gianni Marilotti this afternoon at 3.30 pm. The event can be followed in live streaming on Webtv.Senato.it. The promoter of the initiative is Senator Giovanni Marilotti, president of the Library and Historical Archives Commission.

Coordinators will be Marinella Venegoni and Gian Giacomo Migone. The event is promoted with the Mimmo Candito Prize and the journalism school of the Lelio and Lisli Basso Foundation.

Several points will be touched upon during the afternoon. Let’s see them, point by point. Alessandro Triulzi’s speech, the first in chronological order, has the title: “Concealment on the consequences of Italian colonialism”. It will then be the turn of Nello Scavo with “Italy and Libyan migrations”; then Annalisa Camilli will deal with “The still obscure aspects of the G8”; “The case of the Marò in India” will have Mattia Miavaldi as speaker; Nello Trocchia will then deal with “The case of Santa Maria Capua Vetere”. Finally, “The Piunto on the Assange case” will be treated by Vincenzo Vita and Stefania Maurizi.

The event will be held in the Chapter Hall, near the cloister of the Convent of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, in the Senate.
