A space for dialogue, debate and agreement regarding the actions and mitigations of the child phenomenon in Cesar has been called by Senator Didier Lobo Chinchilla for next Thursday, March 21 in the city of Valledupar.

Lobo Chinchilla, current Vice President of the Senate of the Republic, specified that a follow-up will be carried out on the problem of the phenomenon of children that the region has been suffering; as well as the actions and solutions by the National Government, taking into account that to date five municipalities have declared a public calamity due to the effects of the drought, while 10 have reported a shortage of drinking water.

The Territorial Planning Commission has extended the invitation to Carlos Carrillo (Director of the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management – ​​UNGRD), to María Susana Muhammad González (Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development), to Corpocesar, to the Governorate and 25 mayoralties of Cesar.
