It came to life phase of accompanying the monitoring and reporting activities of local authorities, after listening to the territory that the project Skills Hub conducted from September to November 2023. In fact, during the first phase of the project they were realized 16 focus group on the territory and technical insights, aimed at analyzing the main impediments to the full and correct implementation of the interventions financed by the national and European cohesion policy. This first listening activity allowed the major critical issues for the implementation of the interventions to emerge, but also to identify possible shared and implementable solutions. Once this mapping has been completed, it is now possible to get to the heart of things by sending experts who, through support actions, are called upon to strengthen the staff and skills of the entire Abruzzo public system.
A team of 24 esperti Form is supporting the Local Authorities, divided into 16 territorial areas, to “unblock” the planning projects of the Development and Cohesion Fund 2000-2020 and to strengthen the skills of the staff of local authorities in Abruzzo. The objective of this intervention is to take up the challenge of the new 2021-2027 programming which will bring huge resources to the Abruzzo region on research and innovation, digitalisation, competitiveness and businesses, energy, environment and natural resources, culture, transport and mobility, urban redevelopment, work and employability, social and health, education and training, administrative capacity. Through the creation of support and empowerment sessions for local authorities on monitoring, reporting and document management, always organized on a territorial basis, it will also be possible to encourage the start of new territorial aggregation processes.
