Sonsonate has experienced a notable transformation by regaining control of public areas that were previously under the influence of gangs, thanks to the security measures implemented within the framework of the Territorial Control Plan.
“Thanks to the Territorial Control Plan we have recovered public spaces to return them to the population, because they were spaces taken over by gangs,” emphasized the candidate for mayor of Sonsonate Centro, Rafael Arévalo.
This change in security has generated a positive impact in the municipality, allowing the revitalization of road infrastructure, the restoration of deteriorated areas and the creation of new recreational spaces for the enjoyment of citizens, thus promoting a safer and more prosperous environment.
