Spring Arrives at the Great Wall: National Spring Progress Map Released
The China Weather Network has announced the arrival of spring across the country, with many places in North China entering the threshold of spring early. As of March 20, the national spring progress map shows that spring has arrived at the foot of the Great Wall and in various other regions.
The central and eastern parts of the country have experienced significant warming since mid-March, leading to the rapid expansion of spring to the north. The thawing of lakes, melting of snow, and blooming of spring flowers in many northern areas indicate the arrival of the new season.
According to meteorological analysts, the recent temperature rise in North China has accelerated the local spring process. Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Shandong, and southern Shaanxi are among the places that have already welcomed spring.
This year, spring has arrived earlier than usual in the Huanghuai River region of North China, with cities like Beijing and Tianjin experiencing spring more than ten days earlier than normal. Despite the early arrival of spring, cold air activities are still expected before the end of the month, so residents are advised to be cautious of temperature fluctuations.
As the country continues to transition from winter to spring, it is important to stay updated on weather changes. Follow the China Weather Network’s official accounts on WeChat, Weibo, and Douyin for the latest updates on spring progress and weather forecasts.
