This Friday, April 5, the Sacred Heart Private Craft Training Academy held the Beauty and Fashion Expo; an event held periodically, prior to the graduation of students as teachers of beauty. Its purpose is to allow citizens to appreciate the knowledge acquired in the classrooms.
Activity
Loli Gualán, coordinator of the center, explained in an interview with Diario Crónica that the event was divided into two parts: the first in which the students offered free services to attendees, such as haircuts, straightening, waves and nail painting, among others; and, the second part consisted of the presentation of the final works, where the students recreated characters from the movie “The Book of Life”, showing both their skill in makeup and in costume making through models.
This activity not only stands out for the exhibition of individual talent, but also for promoting teamwork, reflecting what was learned during the 12 months of training, which included techniques such as hair color, facial and body makeup, as well as nail designs according to the assigned character.
In the program, more than 100 students who are about to graduate and are in training, offered services to the attendees. The coordinator also highlighted the participation of the cutting and sewing degree, whose first cohort is close to graduating.
