The Attorney General’s Office reported the security measure in the prison against a man identified as Iván Rafael Ibarra Castro, who is seen as allegedly responsible for repeatedly hitting his partner, a pregnant woman.
According to the accusing body, the events had a genesis from the year 2023, specifically in the month of June, when Ibarra Castro would have used a sharp weapon to attack the woman, regardless of whether she was carrying a gestating child inside her. her belly.
In addition to the threat with the weapon, the alleged aggressor also allegedly made death threats to the victim, warning her that he would murder her if he saw her with anyone else.
In this sense, the authority indicated that the capture of Ibarra Castro took place on January 13 in Valledupar, thanks to the coordinated action of servers from the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), as well as uniformed members of the Army and the National Police. .
