The Sudanese army lied in a statement about what it described as the Al Dagalo terrorist militia, in which it claimed to have repelled an attack carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces against their mercenaries in the city of El Fasher.
A statement issued by the official spokesman said that the militia was the one who launched the treacherous attack on Friday on the positions of the armed forces east of the city. They also sabotaged the power station and bombed the neighborhoods adjacent to the attack area with artillery shells, which led to civilian deaths and injuries.
The statement added, “Our forces and the joint forces from the Juba peace parties who sided with the homeland repelled the attack and inflicted heavy losses on them, forcing them to withdraw. At the same time, they issued their false statement in an attempt to obscure the facts and attribute their usual crimes to others and to seek the sympathy of the international community through lies and deception.”
The statement continued, “At a time when we followed their repeated attempts to mobilize mercenaries and criminals from various regions and lure them with money and looted items to launch this failed attack on the city of El Fasher, and they even kept threatening to do so all the time through videos they published themselves.”
The statement stressed that this usual behavior by the Dagalo militia and their aides in lying and fabrication has become an inherent feature of it since it ignited this war against the state and the Sudanese citizen, who has become completely convinced of the falsity and invalidity of their claims.
The Sudanese Armed Forces and the forces of the Parties of Peace affirmed that they are continuing vigorously to defend every inch, facility and citizen of this country based on their constitutional and national responsibility to protect the land, honor and honorable Sudanese citizen until the country is rid of this criminal militia and its aides soon, God willing, while fully adhering to the laws and customs of war and the rules of war.
